Philippe BLOT – Chief Executive Officer and Chairman of the Board
Graduated in Business Administration (BA) with over 12 years of sales and marketing experience in
the IT industry, working at senior levels for European and US organizations including Bell Canada,
Sun Microsystems-Netscape Alliance, nCipher.
Since 1998, Philippe has focused on the security
industry. Prior to joining UINT he held senior sales management positions at nCipher as SEMEA and
South America Director, as well as Strategic Alliances Manager for Europe. He opened the offices in
Paris and Madrid, thus allowing nCipher Corporation to be leader on the hardware security modules
market.
Having joined nCryptone in mid 2003, he initially focused on the company's strengths with
Prosodie, Nagra ID and Innovative Card Technologies, opened the office in California. Philippe was
responsible for managing all aspects of nCryptone`s business development.
Jean-Charles RENAUD, PhD - Chief Operating Officer
Graduated from INSA and Ecole Centrale Lyon in 1983, Jean-Charles has received the title of Doctor in
Electronics for the work he achieved for France Telecom.
Before joining UINT, he has spent more than
12 years in Thalès Research and Technology at the head of the R&D Department for which he has
coordinated both national and European projects related to Microwave Photonics. More recently,
appointed Manufacturing Director of Avanex, he has managed 130 People and all front-end
technologies. Jean-Charles joined nCryptone in 2006 and was affected to the position of
Manufacturing and Hardware Development Director.
Along his career, Jean-Charles also teaches in famous Engineering Schools and managed several
PhD students. Jean-Charles authored or co-authored more than one hundred technical publications for
international reviews.
Jean-Philippe AUTHIER - Software Development Director
Jean-Philippe, a computing enthusiast has worked for more than 16 years in the systems and
networks world. After a first experience as Technical Manager for a company of the computing
industry, he joins in 1995 the network of distributors and service providers, Euralliances as Network
Engineer. He integrates Corporate Software & Technology in 1997 and takes the technical
responsibility of conceiving and leading customer projects. In 2000, ActivIdentity entrusts him with the
position of Integration Expert. He becomes the technical expert for Europe and Asia of all the
company’s product lines. Prior to joining UINT, he spent 2 years at nCryptone as Software Manager.
Thomas LE OUËDEC - Product Line Manager
Graduated from EPITA (specialization Advanced Multimedia) in 2000, prior to joining UINT, Thomas
has worked for Arthur Andersen as a software engineer in the security of e-commerce web site. Then
Thomas joined nCryptone in 2000 and was affected to the development of the first version of the
authentication server and software. In 2003, he joined the commercial division as a Project Manager
and managed all the major projects (bank and corporate).
Didier MOBETIE - R&D Electronics Manager
Graduated from the ENSEA in 2002, Didier
joined Thales e-Transactions as an electronics engineer and in charge of R&D on payment terminals. Then he joined nCryptone in 2003 where he designed the last generations of acoustic
cards and thus gained an unique expertise in acoustic authentication. He also developed the first
display card on the market which was finalist at the Sesames Awards in Cartes 2006 and the DOT (Dual Output
Token), the latest authentication product of Inteligensa.
