The uBike card has been accepted for the 2012 edition of the SESAMES Awards in the hardware and identification categories. The uBike is the first active ISO 7810 UHF (2.4 GHz) card. It can be read at a distance up to 20 meters. Stay tuned to know more on the uBike Card.

Fatine Lahmani will make a presentation entitled “communicant electronic circuits design and optimization for smart card integration” during ECOFAC 2010.
The conference will focus on “onboard systems and energy management”, and it will take place at Plestin Les Grèves (France) from 29th march to 2nd april 2010.
The authors of this work (Fatine Lahmani, Didier Mobetie, Philippe Blot and Jean-Charles Renaud) will demonstrate the interest in ultra thin, flexible, rechargeable battery for smart card integration. The optimization of the card’s communication circuitry to the external world is detailed, especially the extremely compact antennas design optimization. These achievments constitute a remarkable projection aiming at making the cards autonomous to be more and more “intelligent”.
